Guided walkthroughs

Focused lessons that each end with a saved preset. Filter by keyword or jump directly to any step.

Basics

Short walkthroughs that end with a saved preset.

Build your first workflow — 6 min, Beginner

Chain OCR, redaction and merge into a one-click preset.

Import a scanned contract and run OCR so the text layer exists. Then select the clauses to remove and apply redaction — the text index is rewritten, not just covered.

Add a merge step to append the signature page, then press Save as preset. The next document takes one click.

Work completely offline — 4 min, Beginner

Install the workspace and keep processing with no connection.

Load the app once, install it from the browser prompt, then turn off networking. Every tool remains available because the engines are already cached locally.

Presets created offline queue their sync and upload the next time you sign in — the documents never do.

Working with documents

Redaction, forms and batch runs on real files.

Redact without leaking metadata — 8 min, Intermediate

Why black boxes are not redaction, and how to remove content for real.

Start by auditing the document: the inspector lists metadata, attachments, embedded thumbnails and revision history — every one of those can carry the text you meant to remove.

Select regions, apply redaction, then run the sanitize step to clear the remaining surfaces. Export and re-open the result to confirm the search index returns nothing.

Batch-process a folder — 5 min, Intermediate

Run a saved preset across hundreds of documents in one pass.

Pick a preset, grant folder access and choose an output directory. AutoDocify streams files one at a time so memory stays flat regardless of folder size.

The run log records per-file status and lets you retry only the failures.

Fill and flatten forms — 7 min, Advanced

Map data into form fields, then flatten for distribution.

Import a CSV and map columns to field names; the mapper previews the first row so mismatches surface immediately.

Flattening converts fields to page content, which prevents downstream edits and keeps the file readable in every viewer.

Advanced

Signing, verification and trust.

Sign and verify documents — 9 min, Advanced

Apply digital signatures and check the trust chain locally.

Load a PKCS#12 certificate, position the visible signature and sign. The private key stays in worker memory and is never serialized.

Verification renders the full chain, timestamp and any post-signature modifications, so tampering is visible at a glance.
