Privacy Policy

Zehnax is built privacy-first: your documents are processed on your device and never leave it. This page explains exactly what that means.

Last updated October 2026

Privacy at a glance

  • Your documents are processed locally, in your browser — they are never uploaded to us.
  • We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.
  • The only personal data we hold is what you voluntarily provide (for example, when contacting support).

Your documents

Every tool on this site runs client-side. Files you open, edit, merge or export are handled by code executing in your browser and stay on your device. We have no server-side component that receives, stores or can inspect them. Closing the tab discards any in-memory state.

Information we collect

We collect as little as possible:

  • Information you provide — such as your email address or message when you contact support.
  • Basic technical logs — our hosting provider may record standard server logs (IP address, time, requested path) for security and abuse prevention.

Cookies and local storage

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The site stores small preferences locally in your browser — for example your light or dark theme choice — which never leave your device and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.

Third-party services

The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which sees your IP address when the font is requested. We do not embed advertising or analytics trackers. Any future third-party service that processes personal data will be listed here before it goes live.

Data retention

Because document processing happens on your device, we hold no document data to retain. If you contact support, we keep your message only as long as needed to resolve it and maintain a record of the conversation.

Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you. Since we hold very little, most requests amount to removing your support correspondence — use the support page to make such a request.

Children's privacy

The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the latest revision.
